Grew up in Sanuki. Ran language programs in Tokyo 10 years before coming home. Bilingual EN/JP.

Farm lead · 3rd-generation farmer

Runs the PLH farm. Teaches students how to feed cows, mend fences, and read the weather.

Teaches Japanese at every level, from zero to N1. Has a soft spot for dad jokes.

Dorm life, simply.

  1. 01Single-sex dorm rooms, 2–3 students per room.

  3. 03Three meals a day in the campus dining hall, home-style Japanese.
  4. 04Dietary needs (halal, kosher, vegetarian, vegan, allergies) coordinated with our kitchen.
  5. 05Laundry handled on-site. Wi-Fi in common areas.
